Fantastic Janet Evanovich is a wonderful author. I laugh out loud whenever I read her Stephanie Plum novels. Her characters are completely human and outrageously funny. From Lula, to cousin Vinny to Ranger, all unique. All though this book is short, it is well worth the effort!
Can't get enough of Stephanie Plum and gang I'll take Stephanie Plum, Lulu, Grandma Mazur and all however I can get them. This between-the-numbers book definitely had me laughing and turning the pages. I just love the characters and can't get enough of them! I missed Joe and Ranger in this book which is the only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5. I love the wit, the outrageous situations, the family interactions, and Lulu's hilarious take on things (gotta love her approach to dieting!) I don't buy and keep many books at all (I'm a library gal) but I do collect the Stephanie Plum books, and even though Plum Lovin' has no number, it will definitely be added to my collection just the same.Slight and entertaining This "between the numbers" Plum novel is barely a novella. More like a long short story.
The plot is immaterial. If you know Stephanie Plum, Grandma Mazur et al, this is a banzai visit. It contains all the requisite Plum material, and there are plenty of laugh-out-loud moments.
If you don't know these characters, start with One For the Money. This slender volume is no place to meet these people.
